Found speaking to Julia very pleasant and easy. Her quick response to any question was very much appreciated. All good with entire experience. Many thanks!

Julia and her group were so lovely! I had quite a few special requests including playing a hymn while our guests sang along, and having to move from the first floor ceremony to the second floor for cocktail hour. Everything went so smoothly. I nearly forgot to provide the music cues and emailed Julia close to midnight the night before our daytime wedding and even despite my late requests, Julia and her group performed everything to a T. They ended the songs at a natural stopping point (rather than a harsh mid-melody stop) and the sound carried beautifully without speakers/mics for our 300+ guests. Great experience and lovely music.

The affair was a total success and the Royal Violins were a major contributing factor to the success. Man, many positive comments about the music and that it was very enjoyable throughout the evening. Our next affair will include the Royal Violins.

We do not know if they are good, Julia got sick two hours before the event. Payment should not be ask if she is no longer interested in the responsibility. We were interested in a woman violinist, Julia decides to replace her self with a young man, not professional.

Dear Sabastiano, all of your reviews are appreciated. However, I need to clarify the events that lead you to having my colleague stand in for me. A few days before your event I got very sick. Since I did not want to ruin your event and for you to be without a pre-arranged violinist, I called upon another highly qualified and professional member of my group to take my place. Given our communications never mentioned the desire for a female performer, i was unaware of your personal request until you contacted gigmaters.com days later. Thus, my male colleague took my place much to your pleasure per the review you stated about him. You complimented his professionalism by

The Royal Violins helped turn my dream wedding into a reality. As soon as I stepped foot in our church, I could hear them playing the prelude piece and it was simply magnificent. Julia was very accommodating and great to work with. They actually played along with our organ and choir on certain pieces during the ceremony. Their music set the tone for our entire day. I would highly recommend hiring them to play for any event. They were so awesome that we also asked them to play for our cocktail hour! We received so many compliments!

WeddingReviewed on July 30, 2014From Tarrytown, NY

We used Royal Violins for our wedding and luncheon. From the outset they were accommodating, professional, and enthusiastic. On the wedding day, they played beautifully & required minimal oversight. Notwithstanding the fact that they needed to move from the outdoors to the indoors for the second half. We asked them to learn a piece of music that was special to us as it related to a friend who had passed away. We provided them with the sheet music and they played it beautifully. Many guests commented how touching the tribute was and how well it was performed. After the ceremony they sent a prompt and kind thank you note. Simply put, they were awesome.

Well since I'm the groom, unfortunately I didn't have time to meet this group. But I suppose that's a good thing. As I was getting ready for our entry, hiding from the incoming crowd, royal violins had already set themselves up and played beautiful music with no hand holding needed. The rest was kind of a blur but I recall the music being beautiful and my mother commented on how wonderful they sounded. So I was ultimately thrilled with their performance and their extremely well valued pricing.

Brilliant! Julia was very professional and accommodating to my song requests. Super easy to work with and even showed up a little earlier to commence playing for my guests. Honestly I hope to have another event where I can hire them as when you are at your own wedding you cannot really sit down and take in the full experience. The only minutes I had to myself where right before walking in and the moment I heard my processional I felt like I was in a dream...so perfect! Stunning! I cannot say enough good things about this group. Hire them you will not be sorry!!

WeddingReviewed on October 8, 2012From Garrison, NY

Everything was wonderful, many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music during our ceremony and cocktail hour. We had a special request for our recessional and the group was more than willing to learn it, which really meant a lot to my husband's family. They were very professional, on time, and when it started to rain during our ceremony they were able to quickly set up inside and were ready to perform when the ceremony continued. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends.

Everyone loved the ceremony music that Royal Violins played at my wedding! One of my family members has already asked me how to get in contact with Royal Violins because they did such a great job! They were also very good about the music. Since they didn't know the particular songs we wanted to have played, I sent over some sheet music and they learned the songs! It really made all the difference to have live violinist play during my ceremony, I am sooo glad we choose them! They were not expensive either for a voilin trio! I will recommend to anyone!!!! Thank you so much!! ~Megan

The Royal Violins brought my dreams to reality. They played beautifully, we're extremely accommodating & above all very professional. Their playing made me cry when I entered the chapel & made my heart soar when they played our first dance song (of which they actually made their own arrangement…it was perfect!). We booked them for the ceremony & cocktail hour…one of our best decisions. All the guests raved about their playing. They truly made our wedding more special than I ever could’ve imagined. Thank you Royal Violins for sharing your talents & making our wedding day a true fairy tale!

Royal Violins recently played our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour last month. They were excellent throughout the entire process -- timely, professional, reasonably priced, talented, and further, they added a certain magic to the proceedings. I would recommend them without reservation to any person considering an evening with musical accompaniment.

Royal Violins did a fantastic job at our wedding. Julia was helpful in selecting pieces to be played for the different parts of the ceremony. The music was played beautifully and everyone sounded great! In addition Royal Violins was very accommodating and flexible given our last minute decision to have our ceremony played outside. Would highly recommend Royal Violins.

Royal violins played my outdoor ceremony: actually they were indoors while the ceremony was outdoors. They ruined our first look by running up the stairs and refusing to go back when we told them we were taking photos. It drizzled the whole day but stopped raining an hour before the ceremony. They told me that since it rained they didnt know what to do. It was NOT raining at the time so i'm not sure what the issue was.Shouldnt a band who plays outside regularly have the forethought to have something in case the ground is wet? Luckily our reception band came in to save the day and let them use a speaker so they played inside while everyone was outside.
