The duo ensemble music of Steve Holman and his accompanying violinist met our very expectation. It was beautifully and smoothly done with one selection flowing into the next. We acquired the ensemble quite late allowing little opportunity for selection requests from the bride. Even so, Steve put together a program that pleased everyone. The performers were elegant in backtie dress and mannerism. They truly added a special touch to a very special wedding ceremony. We were very pleased that they were able to perform.

So glad to have had Summit Strings for our wedding. My husband was a little apprehensive at 1st about the idea of a quartet, but afterwards, I received a "I should listen to you more often." In addition to the extensive song list that they shared with us, they were very accommodating. My aunt, who's like my 2nd mom was learning the cello (inspired by the song, Gabriel's Oboe) when my uncle passed. She never picked up the cello again. I requested it for the ceremony & they played beautifully. They were great at rearranging pop music & Steve even switched from his cello to a guitar for some of the songs. A group that really can do it all & back up everything they say.

Incredible- They even learned a special song for my mother in law’s funeral. The music was beautiful and they made the services so special. You are missing out if you don’t book them.

Steve and SUMMIT Strings played our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at the Deerpark Restaurant at the Biltmore estate. They hit all their cues and played flawlessly throughout. Guests enjoyed the array of songs played during the cocktail hour, especially the popular music renditions! I highly recommend SUMMIT strings for your wedding!

Great communication in planning for the wedding music. They were very in tune to the ceremony and knew just when to jump in with music and when to fade out when he pastor spoke. I would definitely hire them again. Thank you.

Summit Strings Quartet exceeded my expectations. They played exactly what I asked for beautifully, and they set the mood perfectly with the other songs they played. Although I was unable to listen to them play during the dinner hour due to the photographer, my guests bragged on how wonderful the quartet was during this time. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

He personally came over to talk to us during the reception, as we never got to see or meet the team. He even came over and played our special song, which was played already at the church. We were rushed out of the service by people " moving us along". Him doing that, made my wife very happy, and to me, thats all that matters. I would hire him anytime I need a cello and violin!

Steve Holman and his two accompanying string players were nothing short of magic. Steve and I had been talking and planning things half a year out from the wedding, and Steve was incredibly accommodating the entire time to all of the changes that I made along the way. He stayed in communication with me, and offered plenty of suggestions and made every piece of music special. I honestly can't say enough about Steve. I would never in a million years use anyone else. I hired Mr. Holman for a 2 hr cello recording session. I couldn't be more pleased with his professional demeanor and performance. He showed up early with his instrument already tuned along with extra equipment just in case. Without previously hearing the tune, he mastered it and was ready to record in less than an hr. This really sealed the deal for me, because I was paying for studio time by the min. He completed his track in 2 takes and made sure that I was completely satisfied before packing up. If you are interested in hiring a very talented/professional musician for any reason, I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Steve Holman. I will definately be using his services again.

Of the 3 bands I gave on Gig Masters, this is the lowest rating any band has ever received. This was an outside wedding, that 30 min before the ceremony was to start,the sky turned black (imminent rain) with wind gusts up to 30 mph. The wedding coordinator decided to scrap the wedding time line and plan ( hopefully beating the weather) , and told us ( the musicians ) to move right to the processional for the bride to come in. We proceeded to play the processional and just as the bride was half way down, a strong gust of wind blew both our music stands over. We had to stop playing and re-compose ourselves. This event did turn out to be a 3... but through no fault of

We were thrilled with the job Steve and his associate did at our wedding. They were very accommodating, learning two new songs to make our day extra special. They did an excellent job performing, and we couldn't have been happier. We'd recommend Steve to anyone looking for a wedding musician.
