Party Up responded quickly via email, and was easy to reach by telephone too. Their website is easy to navigate, and I enjoyed being able to select my top 50 songs, and they played all of them. Party Up arived on time and set up quickly and began playing music right away. They were a joy to work with and I'd certainly call them again.

The DJ called me before my wedding to verify some information I had sent him, which was great. On the day of, he was there on time and set up. He was very friendly and handled the introductions very well. The beef I have with the DJ is that on the form I had filled out, I said that I was not doing a garter toss. During the reception, the DJ announced the garter toss, and that was horribly embarrassing to me. I was completely mortified when he announced it and when I said that I wasn't doing it he did not immediately switch over to something else. Other than that, he was fine.

Our Dj was on time, well dressed, friendly and played a great selection of music. However, he was not able to keep the kids engaged. They wandered away from the tent and he sat there nearly alone at times and there were 40 kids. I had given him instructions for a hula hoop contest, prizes and neon bracelettes to pass out when the dancing began and he did not do these things. I expected him to be more energetic and help to create the fun, party atmosphere and was disappointed that he did not. This was a 16th birthday party for our daughter with a luau theme.

I have to qualify the low marks. I contracted with Vince for my daughter's engagement party. He sounded great and I felt comfortable in hiring him. The problem was that he sent another DJ(Ron) and he didn't have the demeanor that I expected. Although I was happy in his music selection, he was hard to talk to and seemed annoyed when a song was requested. Our guests still enjoyed themselves and danced for the entire time. I just would have liked him to be a little more enthusiastic and easy to talk to. The positives are he arrived on time, played great music, and stayed an extra hour when asked. He could have been more interactive.

Vincent was extremely helpful and provided just the service we needed for our wedding reception. He reminded us of things to consider and was quite capable of adapting on the fly. He also kept us on track for our evening’s plan.

We had our wedding on 9/15/18 and it was popping because of our DJ. His prices are reasonable, and he is willing to work with you. My husband and I wanted songs from our home countries and when we sent him the .mp3 file he was able to work it into our wedding. All my friends were complimenting the DJ on his song choice and the way the songs flowed well together from one song to another. The reception was lit.

Party Up was great to work with. Their website is very detailed, and easy to use- definitely gets everything straight so everyone is on the same page. Vince was super responsive and a few days before we were able to give him a call to go over everything. We weren't very picky on songs and he ended up playing a great playlist! He was even able to get a song for us that wasn't in his library. Only complaint was that he pronounced the last name wrong, but a guest was able to correct him before it was to announce the bride and groom.

Vincent Higdon was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, prompt at returning emails, & he & his team arrived early so that they had enough time for set-up, to meet with me, & to be ready to go. They were very interactive with our crowd, able to get people to volunteer to perform karaoke, & were fun! The photo booth props that they provided were the best of the 3 cities we held this event in & Vincent provided a thumb drive, post event, so that we were able to show the photo booth photos via a slide show on our big screens, in the general session space, during breaks the next day. I would definitely work with Vincent again & I recommend him to others.

Vince and his assistant were most accommodating. ( sorry but I forgot the assistants name). He played the REALLY IMPORTANT songs just as we wanted at the right times. Also they surprised us with the way they chose to play a song that we had sent to them. It was "With This Ring". The way they played it and the time they chose was a VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. We would highly recommend Vince and his team to anyone. They were very affordable and completely executed everything just as we wanted. Also had multiple compliments from the guests. Thanks again.

Vince from Party Up Entertainment did an excellent job at our wedding reception. He worked with the caterer and our organizer to make for a seamless reception. He took our music suggestions and produced a playlist that was appropriate for dinner and then figured out the right music to get our guests dancing. Plus, the online forms allowed for easy and efficient communication. We would definitely recommend him to others looking for a DJ for a wedding or other family event.
