We had a great experience using DJ Buddy Holly. His set up looks great and proffessional, I was reallly impressed. His attitude is great, he was so nice and he really wanted to make sure that we were happy. He handled all the guest requests really well, and he got the guests involved in dancing. He has a great voice and you can really understand him on the microphone, which is really important for announcements. We had a large mix of people and he was able to make them all dance. = - )

We hired DJ Buddy Holly for our wedding at Lake Tahoe. He did an amazing job putting together a play list that included our picks and incorporated various music genres. And the best thing was that he kept the dance floor busy. Our guests and we had great time. I would highly recommend DJ Buddy Holly to any of my friends.

dj buddy holly did a great job at our wedding, he had everyone dancing the whole night with many compliments from our guests. his only shortcoming we experienced was that his communication on the front end was less than expected--contact via email and phone to make changes to the contract went unanswered or unnoticed until the day of the event. that aside, he is incredibly reasonably priced, he showed up on time and was extremely accommodating and good natured. he is very talented and a good speaker. we would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a dj.

DJ Buddy Holly was great, but I do have a few things to say about his professional presentation. HE played all the songs we requested, and did his best to get the guests involved. My only "complaint" was that he almost chased us for the $100 balance. My dad was ready to pay when the time came with cash and everything, but I was SO stressed before the ceremony, and he did not let it go. As the bride, I was not in charge of that, and I just wanted to get dressed, but he kept asking... Overall, Everyone loved the music and the DJ, but as the bride not so much.

David utterly failed to deliver at our wedding. There are NO sufficient excuses for his bungled performance. We spoke with him 2 weeks before the wedding. He said that he would 1) show up early, likely before any other vendor, 2) would make up the play list on the monday prior to the event and 3) would play acoustic beatles songs on his guitar during our cocktail hour. On our wedding day, he played the wrong version of our first dance song (I sent him the MP3!!), he was confused about arrival time, didn't play guitar due to a broken fingernail, and obviously didn't make the song list according to our questionnaire--it was some generic playlist. He is undependable.

:

I showed up early as I stated I would. I feel sympathy for this client. I did have a broken fingernail for classical guitar and told the client I was more than willing to get the nail fixed before the show. He said no, it was okay to just provide DJing. The client anticipated that 3/4 of the people would be gone at the end of the party at 10pm. The dance floor was in fact packed at the end. I played all the song requests on their playlist. I received conflicting instructions from the bride and groom on the first dance version.

Did not play songs from our must play list. Played music we did not want to be played. Horrible DJ.

:

I in fact played all of this clients song requests and have no idea why they would post this ridiculous feedback. I received lots of compliments on the music from the guests at the party. I send all clients a questionnaire specifying their song requests, genres they want played, genres they don't want played etc. During this six hour event I played only music the client requested plus I played the music requested by the guests. I simply followed the client's specific instructions. I always tell my clients if they want me to change anything up as far as songs, volume of music, or adjustments with lighting, I am happy to accommodate their needs.
