ALOHA e Ia Orana! Let's Hula! Award winning Nalani will get your Ho'olaule'a (party) started of on the right track. Nalani is a professional Polynesian Dance Performer, specializing in Weddings and Birthday parties for keiki/children and adults, alike. Authentic, professional and friendly entertainment is what sets her apart. Her set may include dances performed with Uli Uli (traditional hand-made gourds, decorated with bright yellow and red feathers) and Pu'ili (split bamboo sticks). Hula, Tahitian, and Maori styles. Nalani also brings the excitement to the luau, with her unique female fire show. If you are looking for a duet, Nalani and her partner Leilani can customize a show to fit your needs. If you are having a smaller gathering, one dancer is usually a perfect fit. Hula dancers add a warm and welcoming touch for Weddings. Whether you're getting married outdoors on the beach, or just having an indoor celebration, your guests will enjoy our performance. It's a great way of getting the party started after dinner is served. It's always a family friendly performance. Apart from Hula, Nalani also performs Tahitian and Maori. Tahitian is mostly drum beats and the costumes differ from Hula, usually Hand-crafted Headdresses and Tassels are worn on the skirts. Usually Hula and Tahitian dances are incorporated in her show. Looking for an Aloha Lei Greeting in addition to the performance. Nalani can arrange for two beautiful and friendly Aloha Wahines (ladies) to greet your guests, in a traditional Hawaiian way. If you wish for only the Lei Greeting without a performance for your event, that is also possible, just inquire and it can be arranged. Aloha and mahalo nui loa for visiting. Looking forward to bringing smiles on many faces. Fun fact: The word tattoo originated in Tahiti. The legend of Tohu, the god of tattoo, describes painting all the oceans' fish in beautiful colors and patterns. In Polynesian culture, tattoos have long been considered signs of beauty, and in earlier times were ceremoniously applied when reaching adolescence.
