Timberwolf Cover Band from Alamogordo, NM

Rising stars in the southern New Mexico area. Currently an actively working cover variety danceband. We also perform originals in our shows. [NOTE: We don't play the same songs as everyone else {except by request.} We put "drive" in our Country; "soul" in our Blues; "power" in our Rock, and put special emphasis on "vocal harmonies". We give a "concert performance" regardless of the venue.] We are currently creating our first CD of originals. It's alot of work/effort but coming out sweet. TIMBERWOLF is a Variety Danceband playing popular songs from the 50's to the present. We are all music lovers first, and seasoned musicians second! We are NOT a 'clone band', nor a 'Tribute band'...{meaning: We don't try to sound like 'anyone else'! We prefer to say we sound like 'us'!} We have developed our own sound, and over the last six years, have been pleasing dancing and listening audiences, and having alot of fun in the process! We make 'no claims' to being better than anyone else, but whenever we play, it's an 'interactive' party between ourselves and our crowd..be they young or old...be it a paid venue or a charity! Our home port is the Tularosa Basin in southern New Mexico. Our band members are located in the towns of Alamogordo, La Luz, Tularosa, Bent, and Timberon. We define our genres of music as follows: **Classic Rock, Country Rock, Blues Rock, Pop Rock **Contemporary Country, Oldies Country **Easy-Listening {love ballads} **Some Latin/Tejano **And 'originals' in all the above genres Grand Funk Railroad Creedence Clearwater Revival [ NOTE: The band lives in southern New Mexico about 90 miles north of El Paso, TX. So that locates us about 200 miles south of Albuquerque, NM. We get a lot of Gig Alerts from the Albuquerque and Santa Fe area requesting a band for one or two hour events, which is not really worth our while...as we have to charge the same price as we would for a full four hour gig, due to our travel distance,overnight lodging, meals, etc., which is not fair to either the band, or a prospective employer. Gigmasters doesn't let us list our correct region, I guess due to a smaller city population!? So please from now on...Only consider us if you want a band for a full 4+ hours event.
