Waylan Daniel Singer Guitarist from Astoria, NY

The term "Human Jukebox" was probably invented for Waylan Daniel. At an early age, he displayed a knack for learning songs by ear. Before turning 7, he mastered "Rock Around The Clock" on the piano. After his first musical triumph, learning every song he could became a lifelong passion. Last year he surpassed his goal of being able to perform over 1000 songs by memory. That number has only gotten bigger as time marches on. Waylan is a New York City transplant originally from Madison, Wisconsin. His musical career began at age four, playing piano at his grandfather's retirement party. Since then he has mastered guitar, drums, bass, mandolin and piano, as well as leading numerous original music groups and cover bands. Being a lover of all genres of music, he is well versed in rock, Irish, country, ska, indie, soul, and almost anything that can be played on a guitar. Most notably, he has been the front man and lead guitarist of 11 years for party band Hometown Sweethearts. The Sweethearts have been one of the most sought after wedding acts on the east coast and the mid-west. After six years of New York residency, he is vastly becoming one of the city's most highly sought after performers.
