Abellio Strings is a group of classically trained musicians who believe music is integral to a great event and wish to provide the highest quality of musicianship to their clients.
Founded in 2014 by violinist Kimberly Harrenstein, Abellio Strings is comprised of herself, her best friends Brian Jankanish and Kelly Moore (on violin & viola), and her younger brother, Nathan Harrenstein (on cello).
We are able to play a wide variety of musical styles and offer arrangements of any songs we don't have (subject to a fee). You name it, we can play it!
We offer:
Solo (violin, viola, or cello)
Duo (2 violins, violin and viola, or violin and cello)
Trio (violin, viola, and cello or 2 violins and cello)
Quartet (2 violins, viola, cello)
Additionally, we can provide our own amplification, are able to collaborate with singers, and are available for studio recordings and as backing for local bands. Please email to request further information about these services.
Travel costs: 30 miles from 98109 is free, after that $25/hr + 55¢ Per mile. Any ferry costs are to be paid by client.

Abellio Strings are amazing! Not only were they able to play amazing classical tunes, but contemporary ones as well upon request. If I am ever in need of string musicians again in the future, Kimmy will be the first person that I will contact without hesitation. Such a pleasure to work with.
