Kristin Lloyd Harpist from San Francisco, CA

Kristin Lloyd is a professional harpist in the San Francisco Bay Area who has performed in a wide array of solo, orchestral, and chamber music concerts across the country. She holds a Master's of Music Performance in harp from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's Degree in Harp Performance from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University. Additionally, she has performed with numerous professional orchestras, including Symphony Napa Valley, the Merced Symphony, the Evansville Philharmonic, and the Stockton Symphony. She also enjoys chamber music and plays with chamber ensembles such as One Found Sound and Mercury Soul. While Kristin has extensive classical training, she is also adept at adapting pop songs and jazz tunes for the harp. Kristin has performed as a freelance harpist for a number of high-profile special events, including the Houston Grand Opera Ball and the Napa Valley film festival. She has also recorded with several bands of many different genres in her hometown of Nashville, Tn.
